Nepal Earth Quake 2015

On 25 April 2015, with a magnitude of 7.8Mw, the Gorkha earthquake of Nepal killed 8,964 people and injured 21,952, it was the worst disaster to strike Nepal since 1934. Hundreds of thousands of Nepalese were made homeless with entire villages flattened.

...The roof was rattling, I didn't want to die ugly in case the roof collapsed on me, so I turned to my side... then both the roof and the bed were rattling!

Since I am already here, must as well do something productive and start the day early to photography the plight of the Nepalese people...

Centuries-old buildings were destroyed at UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Kathmandu Valley, including some at the Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar Square, the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Changu Narayan Temple, the Boudhanathstupa and the Swayambhunath stupa...Tourism, the livelihood of many Nepalese were devastated

.... she held my hand, brought me to the site where her husband was berried...3 hrs before my departure time, as she was rushing me thru the passage way, wanting me to help her neighbors, there was a tremor and the beam fell on my back...

...everyone were tearing while distributing the blankets, I wish I could stay longer to bring back the plights of our Nepalese friends but I had to get back to Singapore for my duty tomorrow...
